Back to the Mini Train! Today started with a nice breakfast at Weaver Street Market with Yeu-Fann's dad before heading off to repack the car. After falling behind a bit on time (totally blaming Minerva and the need to toss some balls on her), we got Yeu-Fann dresssed. Not as easy as it sounds. We had to spike his hair and pull up a how to on tie tying, as neither one of us has much experience with either.
Once we turned into where the Google Maps told us to, the guard at the gate seemed completely confused as to where this thing called FunCom was. He recommended we drive down the street to the end where there was a large building. We turned back on Laboratory Drive (originally misheard as Labradory Drive) and lo and behold, the next driveway was clearly labeled "FunCom." We went in and knocked, and were met at the door by Andy, aka Odonoptera who showed us around the mostly empty office. Holiday time had started Friday so most were gone, but those there seemed appreciative of the quilt.
The rest of the afternoon was spent on the fairly trouble and traffic light stretch of road between Durham and Baltimore. We managed to get to Laurel on time for dinner at a Thai place called, functionally enough Thai at Laurel. We met Wanning (Joel) and his wife Sandi and checked one more LoMSer off our list. We also decided he must be at the Second Annual LoMSoween. 'Nough Said.
Now we're back in our Baltimore hotel and the parking lot is full of Minis and all is right with the world.
